Thread: More Negative Fruit - New Deadline |

Hey, been gone for a while, but am back.
Hey Mister Dork, great news on extending the deadline. My band Stu Pedasso and the Skid Mark are going to record a song too.
We'll get it to you as soon as possible.
Tim Chandler will like us I'm sure. Three bass players and a drummer. We're like the antithisis of the White Stripes (think about it, you'll get it).
We're a bottom heavy band.
We all know first hand what the shape of air looks like.

what a great title - what a great title. Have I said I think it's a great title.
Wow, what a great title.
I may even do a song with my band The Skid Marks. I'll learn te guitar over the summer. Hell, if that Chandler feller can play the gittar so can I.

You know that in the Anglican church, if you're going through the canonical process - the hiring church cannot ask for a sermon in advance.

Bellingham is a pot smoking, tree hugging, hemp wearing, coffee drinking, granola crunching, rockport loving suburb.
It has KVOS!
A TV Channel that had frisky frolics! It made me who I am today.

Cool, you have a workshop. I'm going to call my friend Ron the mechanic and see if I can get you some of the Snap On Tools calendars. Oh I'm not referring to the secular calendar with the buxom beauties, I'm referring to the chaste version. The one with stills from Little House on the Prairie, and 7th Heaven.

as producer, Terry had total artistic sway. To be honest, I've grown very attached to Derri's voice. Out of all these bands that I've come to know so much better in the last two years, my wife likes the Choir the best. I'm just waiting for the right moment to snag one of those Choir box sets for her.
But yah. I guess in the best Lost Dogs tradition and then some, we had to have Derri's voice start the entire thing off.

Heh heh, I have a signed box set.

The reviews of this sound awesome. I would love to order it today but as it is, I have 3 things on order from the webstore for which I have been waiting for some time and they still have not come. On top of that, when I send emails to inquire about my orders I don't get any reply.
I think this "support the band because we are all one big happy family" thing is nice but it seems to be a one-way street. The only 'family resemblance' I can see is that placing an order at the webstore is like loaning money to your deadbeat brother-in-law. Who knows when, or if, you will ever get it back.
And, yes, I am in a bad mood today. But I still want (and deserve to get) what I have already paid for.

order it from the andys site then, I got it in a couple of days.

Carl, finally someone else has twigged to Derri and Paul Williams. I've been saying that for a loooong time.
I even wrote Dan at the Choir and told him that.
From my Flap Your Wings review
Is it just me or does Derri remind anyone else of a youngish Paul Williams? I saw him with the Lost Dogs recently and I couldn't stop looking at him and wondering if they were related. If he'd broken into a version of the Rainbow Connection I'd have known for sure.

No that's not not true Theo. I was reading a post of on the the Tuxedo Clad Megastar Ministries site that stated that Derri was retiring from his music ministry. He was going to go back to Barber's college and open a Floyd's Barber Shop in Nashville.
There was talk of him returning his collection of Paul Williams song books, and getting a flat top hair cut.
Tim Chandler was quoted as saying, "Hmm."
A similar but unrelated rumour has either Bryan Duncan or Rick Cua joining the Lost Dogs. Neither could be reached for comment, although sources in Nashville had heard that John Elefante had expressed interest in joining the band as well.
Toby Mac, who loves crap music, made reference to Larry Norman as the creator of CCM and by default the actual writer and producer of all of the Lost Dogs albums, as such he thought a collection of Lost Dog songs covered by Larry would be a nice thing.
Louie Weaver, formerly of Petra, and still sporting a nice looking mullet, submitted a resume to Mike Roe saying that he was working on keeping time, and that if Mister Holt was unavailable for future recordings, he'd be willing to work at scale.
Notes to JT have not been returned, although there is an internet rumour that Mrs. Claire Van Stimple, heard strange voices while watching old reruns of Bewitched. Apparently she kept hearing the phrase "I told Mike it was professionally mastered and not to screw with it." over and over.
Where does all this lead?
Who knows, although it has been confirmed by very reliable sources that Theo will not be joining the band.

Got HD fresh out of the box when it was released, followed almost immediately by Alarma.
Of course from there my spending habits quickly went downhill.

Strange, how we respond to visuals. I thought that the art on the last album was the weakest of them all. It looked like a piece of photoshop clip art. I don't know, it just seemed generic.
DA has had some good ones, FS is haunting, and Motorcycle, and others. But I don't know ...
In terms of albums, I remember being 14 and seeing the sticky fingers album for the first time. You know the Stones with the zipper? What was behind that zipper? I had to know ... but dang it was covered in plastic ... what lurked beneath?

DA tie in, he agreed with the title of Horrendous Disc.
