I can't marry you, but I will consider you an honorary little sister.
You're very cool.

Oh, I know that inappropriate sexual innuendo is probably in poor taste (no pun intended) but I thought that was pretty funny.

yeah, then they won't let him re-release his own best albums that are now out of print....
and fans are forced to either pay a riduculous price for the original on e-bay or make an illegal cd-r....
i'll say it again, kmg sucks....

Hmm, that may be, but if they suck, someone is enjoying himself somewhere ...

Well, we have the original single too - and one of us still has a copy of this newer reissue - so, it doesn't really matter if its returned or not. (Its never been played by the way). And I don't mind sending it to you since you've had so much trouble getting it.
|
Ah, okay then. I was concerned that it was your owm copy, and that would leave you in the lurch so to speak.
If you're cool with it, and have a copy of your own, then I accept with thanks, and pray where I am that it actually makes it to my house.
This has been an unbelievable set of bad luck. I've ordered stuff from you guys many many times, and from dozens of other places and never had a problem like this.
J&E thank you.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again.
The moment you have to charge for the product it's a business. Pure and simple. If it's to be a ministry, then give people access to the message for free.
I like a lot of Christian music and will pay to listen to music that I find personally affirming. I'd rather hear people shout out about Jesus, than hear people sing about getting into someone's pants.
But product has to move. Even our beloved small market bands have to have enough marketing muscle to pay the bills. They are artists, who speak about things that support us and make us think. But it didn't come free.
So why grey poop'on all over the Christian music industry for selling what the majority want to buy? It's like the old joke about reprinting "footprints" on everything you can cause people will buy it.
If you don't like it, don't buy it. I don't support everything that comes out, because I don't like a lot of the music out there - whether it's Christian or not. A non Christian boyband gets the same amount of airtime at my house as their Christian counterparts. None.
This reminds me of those conversations I'd have with my old musician friends years ago about "selling" out. Anything that was commercial was evil, and atonal crap was the sound a true artist strived for.
So here's to Petra, even without Louie. Here's to pretty boy MWS, who I like, and have listened to for years. Here's to a new Whiteheart album.
It's music, and if you like it support it, and if you don't - vote with your wallet and let it rot on the shelf.

Sigh, you guys and gals aren't helping.
Okay, here's the skinny on JtT
He's tall. For real.
He's married
Got kids
Has a lot of music in the house
Has gas
Loves walks on the beach, likes Dr Pepper, eats the red Smarties last, and can play a mean guitar. Nothing more fun than playing with his kids.
Likes women with big hooters.
Likes women with medium hooters.
Likes women who like men who like their hooters.
Is basically a pig in sheeps clothing.
PS Does anyone have an extra copy of the single?

Dr. Pedasso recommends lots of pasta and a nice bottle of red wine, followed by a romantic interlude.

I am deeply thankful and appreciative. And I hope you guys put the return address on it.
I'll listen to it, and then return it.
I will not take your copy.
Yo, BDasso, what about you?

I had a foamy cream ale and a greasy burger for lunch.
Everyone has gone home except for me, and I'm at my desk just crankin' 'em off. I'm laughing out loud and thoroughly enjoying my afternoon.
Whoomp, there it is.
So long as I don't leave a mark on my chair no one will be the wiser come Monday.

I too have struggled with the store, not just here but at the 77s , LD and Mike Roe sites.
I have ordered more than a little bit from these guys, and mostly have not had too much trouble. A little slow, and I don't being small is an excuse.
Christiandiscs.com is a small business, fast and professional. Sure they sell more than just one band so they have a bit more in economies of scale.
But let's take the one offs then.
Numavox is Kerry Livgren's site. How many millions of albums has he sold. He personally sends out his orders. ?I know, cause his signature was on the customs tag.
Adrian Belew, not a huge seller, but a very busy musician. He too personally sent out stuff from his site. He signed the customs tag.
I'm not looking for defensive rebuttals from the audiori's. Those of who support all cut slack, however, they truly need to understand that business has a set of expectations, and consumers are very particular on-line. And frankly product rules over all, and I myself have gone elsewhere to buy 77s stuff cause I knew I'd at least get it.
It's a tough one, and I hope the boys know enough to call out for help if they're overwhelmed and can't float the business.
There's a lot on the line here.
Expectations are reality boys, and we're only trying to help by commenting. I know it must be frustrating from your vantage as we can't see all that goes on. Well, that's true of all commerce.
Jevon.

That's the Barking at the Ant album. I had that.
I always like that cover.
Note the beloved Terry's once beloved Rik. If I remember correctly that was stolen in Vanouver, along with Jerry's Les Paul.
God Bless Canada.

Okay Dorkness, I agree with you. There are a couple of great tunes. Tenth Song being the best.
When I review an album I go for the overall feel. I have, and still will buy weak albums based on the strength of a couple of songs.
I thought overall that it was okay. I did listen to it a lot. Really.
So I have to ask, is this the best that they did?
