I've got all of 'em, and they were delivered in a flash. All of them have been posted and reviewed at banophernalia.com with the Lofi name next to the artist's name.

Good work.

I wasn't blown away by the Adam Again album, but I did buy it!

I saw that too and laughed. I mean an "Australian" version. Oh Lord. I've already gone through three vinyl versions and have both CDs.

If only he'd remaster "so long" which has always sounded tinny and flat compared to the others in the trilogy.

I was just making a point. I don't mind their contributions.

I don't know Larry well enough to call him a dink. A great friend of mine spent a few weeks on the road with him and was totally blown away by Larry in terms of his generosity and how open he was to his own failings and ego.

What really concerns me is your request.

Are you asking that I handle Larry's dink?

Mountain Dewing all over Larry for Hound of Heaven is like Mountain Dewing all over Terry for his crappy version (in my opinion) of Vegetables, or the Lost Dogs for their sterile singing on the Making God Smile tribute.

As to Larry. I'll agree that his ground breaking atuff was killer, and that he's been resting on some pretty impressive laurels.

He was a legitimate draw live. With little promotion he'd fill up a medium sized venue. So he was still hitting the mark.

I hope he hangs on a while longer.

Now if the Tuxedo Clad Megastar could be called home ...

I finally broke down and replied with only a smiley.

I feel so cheap.

So very cheap.

But that's how you get to 10,000

Picture this TEN THOUSAND.

That's more than a little.

The latter most likely, there are a couple of other disc nuts here who have more than I do (so I can let my wife mo I'm not alone in my obsessive habit).

Plug time. Ever wonder how to catalog you r music? Try CD Trustee. Works like a hot nada, and I liked it so much I actually bought a copy.

I'll take requests ... if I've got it, I'll drink a large coffee, take an exlax and get the creative juices flowing.

(whoops, too much info, and I can't let those kind of secrets out.)

Stuvon, that's sooo great. I keep forgetting my work PC is tagged to Stu Pedasso.

NCT is way way better than it appears after only a cursory listen.

Only got a couple more to review and I've got them all covered. Then I gotta catch up with my DA, page.

Then the 77s page

the Choir ...

Then AC/DC.

The rock and roll hall of fame.

Why not go for the Gospel Hall of Fame. Elvis made it there too! Then again so did the Imperials, and Larry Norman (who I really really like so NO comments).

Why not DA? The venerable rockers who have inspired dozens and dozens of other artists.

I can see it now, Terry shuffles up to the mike, a tear in his eye, and a single sheet of paper in his hand.

"I'd like to thank the academy, and of course the nameless one we don't speak of anymore since we lost our way and hats around 1980.

"However, be that as it may, I'd like to thank the Tuxedo Clad Megastar for being the champion he is. May we all continue to grow and prosper."

Tim Chandler moves to speak next but is roughly pushed out of the way by Marty, who grabs the mike and starts singing Props from Alarma.

Tim starts to shake and quake. Suddenly as if by magic, or on queue a small trial sized bottle of Windex dings Marty, shutting him up, but sadly ricochets and knocks Steve Baxter unconscious. The Windex spatters on Tim who now resembles an early 80’s version of Brian Dennehy. He mumbles something about “that Chandler puke” and proceeds to take off his shirt and make armpit farts on the stage. What is most miraculous about this display is that he’s double pitting, the most shocking thing since on stage, since the missing Ed Sullivan episode where Topo Gigio is recruited by the Black Panthers to assassinate Mama Cass with a chicken bone.

Coming to the rescue Jerry and Ed perform a double ax-handled wishbone suplex on “Tim” knocking him from the stage into the orchestra pit. Where a great deal of timpani and grunting is heard, punctuated with a final dull thud before silence falls again.

Picking up, where he left of Terry again assumes his role as front man, and continues. “I know that today we join a long line of fine and honorable artists, such as Della Reese, Five Blind Boys of Mississippi, and Bill & Gloria Gaither. I know we are in good company.

Truce. This isn't making any sense to anyone not familiar with the story.

Here's the correct spin.

Ordered from the store many many many times. No issues, no problems. Supported the band at the source.

Had a single fubar experience that has been a right pain in the burro to figure out. No fault or blame - just confusion.

Bottom line: Store Good, Devil Bad.

Jevon the Tall who is not alway a Stu Pedasso.

Guys, no one here has not been understanding, we've all held your father in our prayers, and have circled the wagons to keep the home fires burning.

I can appreciate that you're a little sensitive, but you are more than a little defensive judging by the tone of the response as you go back to a situation we all know and understand. But does not address issues regarding lost orders, status updates etc.

Yes, you have answered a couple of my notes, but never "answered" my questions.

So I'll back off, and send you another note in a less public forum where my tone and intent are not taken out of context, or as an attack on the home team.

It's encouraging to see the volume of correspondence you deal with through the various channels. It means people are hitting the sites. But interest without action leads to frustration, and frankly if your going to play at business be prepared to remove some of the "self" from "business."

Later.

This is all well and good, and those of us who are "on side" understand this to a degree and make some pretty wide allowances. What is more distressing is what kind of experience is this for the casual fan who goes to the store, and doesn't know all of this stuff?

I'd love to be able to banter privately about my order woes, but you don't respond. Thus I air my laundry and disappointment publicly, which make things somewhat worse for wear as I am a full on supporter and have the bills to prove it.

"For me (and perhaps others), knowing the circumstances, what's needed is more patience and a lot more slack for these guys. Not to mention more support of the webstore, renewal of the Club, etc."

I too have ordered just about everything under the sun from the page, and have paid hard for it too, with the exchange and customs and duties which often more than doubles the cost. The club is an iffy for me, as it's part donation part club benefit. Pick a direction and stick to it. ie. Support the band with a 20 dollar donation, and as recognition for being such a valuable supporter we'll send you some special fan only items. I'd buy into that, but no the silliness that was not delivered other than the two discs.

However, despite this being the ma and pa cottage business, as Terry refers to it, you can't have it both ways and expect the general population who avail themselves of the webstore to stand in line like lost penitents. I am not personally dissing the web boys, they have created a great and special place for the fans, but Terry, JT and the boys have to recognize that business is business and business dealing should remain a separate from the personal side of things.

Much of the "mess" and pleas for our "understanding" are the result of some basic errors in basic business process. Sure we love Terry and the boys but if their representatives can't deliver on the purchase promise why should they buy here?

As one of the waiting hardcore fans, whose mail is ignored, and who has been patiently waiting for status and updates on a lost order since September, and another order since early December I find my wealth of patience at an end, and it's sad.

Don't shoot the messenger but our love for DA and willingness to support the band should not excuse or mean that we have to be dealt with in a less than professional manner.
