Thread: A DA freak? |
|
I got my girlfriend to start listening to DA a couple of years ago. She loves them. Her favorite CD's are Vox Humana and Mr. Buchner's Dream. The first song I ever played for her was Dance Stop. She was hooked. Now I have at least one person to share DA with. My parents love Shotgun Angel, they bought it when it first came out. They don't care for much of the new stuff though. I wish I had friends (besides you guys) that liked DA. The other day one of my friends asked me if they were Beatles Wanna Bee's. I was listening to Motorcycle. It's safe to say we're not friends anymore. I bought another friend Imaginarium for his birthday. He hated it. I made him listen to Motorcycle (the only DA I had with me at the time) and he thought it was "OK". Five minutes later he was listening to some stupid crap group. I don't understand ppeople who only listen to the top 40. The are so unevolved!!!

Thread: I say Carman is a hot kitten |

I knew that would get your attention. What I really wanted to say was that my live bootleg 82 tape broke this week and I want to replace it on CD and of course a spare copy does not exist. How about a re-issue Stunt? OK, I'm probably dreaming. By the way, the Tuxedo Clad Megastar is neither cool or hot. He's more like strung out on je$us.

Thread: Fearful Symmetry |
|
I know I'm gonna get a lot of flack for suggesting this because everybody (Including me) is waiting for the re-issue of DFBB and Let's Spin as well as Outdoor Elvis, but I really want to fill the Fearful Symmetry spot in my CD case. Vox Humana does not like sitting next to Kalhoun. It wants Fearful Symmetry. Yes, I know it was re-released on the Alarma book set and I do have the book set but I need the artwork. I often wonder why Terry doesn't like Fearful Symmertry. It is an amazing album!!! Is there ever going to be a chance that you will re-release it??? As for DFBB, Hurry up, please! Kalhoun is tired of sitting by Vox Humana.

Last year I had about 10 shots of Black Velvet. Very bad experience. Now I stick to Vodka, beer, Mikes, or wine.

I have to wade through a lot of posts to see what you all think of Little Big so I decided to Post what I thought and hopefully you'd tell me what you think.
I love the CD! Lovely Lilly Lou is my favorite. My girlfriend really likes Mama's In The Desert Daddy's In The Sky. She listents to the CD at work. I think this may be Terry's best solo project yet.

I just got Spittle and Phlegm today and watched it for the first time. "I've Got An Idea" was the greatest music video I've ever seen. I'm playing that one for all my friends. I laughed hardest when Pat Robertson started body surfing. Terry truely is brilliant!!!

My church has what are called "human Videos" where the kids act out a song. They do several Carmen songs including The Chameleon (or is it The Champion?) , I'm Too Cool For A Band (Oh sorry, I think it's Revival In The Land), and, of course, This Crud is For You (er I mean this bloods for you).
