Not arguing that you are arguing, just noticing that our once happy family has become so disfunctional. I want it, "I deserve better" I've served them yeah these 14 years and all I got was this lousy tshirt, and Leah. I'm sure we'll get over it.

Have there been details listed as to what is going on at this festival (which seems to be going on right now, although I can't hear it from here in Canada, even if I put my head out the window!)? Anyone going to any of their appearances? Any details if you've been?

I can't truly say when it all started for me, although truthfully, it all began with the choir- Wide Eyed Wonder- well, Kingston Road to be even more precise, which I know is not on WEW, anyway, Scenic Routes came first for me I think, although I did know about the Swirling Eddies before I knew the DA connection, or the meaning of run on sentences. I loved Scenic Routes after the second listen through. Vox Humana was the first DA album I heard and listend to it over and over- borrowed from a friend at a camp I was working at. Kalhoun was being advertised around that time, that it was coming out and that was the first DA thing I both anticipated and bought, although there have been a few more since. I have all their stuff now except Daniel Amos. Its been one heaven of a trip...

I'm sorry I didn't get this message yesterday! I was only online for a minute so I guess we jsut crossed paths. Cold bean salad was served, although I chose not to participate. Thankfully everyone was well behaved so Mr Claus put in a brief appearance. I hope yours was blessed as well.
That web page was something I whipped up last year as a little online fun for some of my students (I teach in a Christian school here in Ontario, Canada) its been kind of put to rest now, but we used to have some fun with it.

I sat there thinking what an influence this guy in the middle (Terry) has had on so many artists. How many songs has this guy written? A million?
Of course, I wanted to talk to him about Randy Stonehill's new album but felt like that might have been kind of rude.
They were all hilarious and it was wonderful to hear all the LD songs. Wish they had played Diamonds to Coal, but, oh well.

Welcome to the DAmb. I'm glad you had a good time, I hope you kept good notes, I'm sure you heard a few... Anyway. What time did you get home? Next time I'll have to make a way to get there, they're just going to have to tour in the summer! I've only seen Derri in concert with thechoir, (back in klbc days, Dennis) and that was great but seeing terry live would be something to add to my own personal version of "Some Friendly Advice"(begin new thread here)

I too purchased this book and really enjoy reading in it (over a thousand pages I think!) Very favourable reviews of the artists we all know and love. There are also quite honest critiques of some who are also put down here. (Although the author uses far more tact then we do here- how about subtlty in our attempts at humour folks- in honour preferring one another!)
My only complaint is the few questionable hobby horses(musically and especially theologically) the author rides away on) Oh, and there is no entry for Level Heads if any one cares.
