Christmas presents or next April Fools? |
Well... artwork is being put together... bonus tracks are being located.. Arena Rock has a target release date...
The main thing that could really capsize it at this time would be Arena Rock deciding they wanted to throw their money out the window and not release it... or I suppose if they wanted to push it back for some reason. But, they've already added "Daniel Amos" to their list of artists at Myspace and on Wikipedia, so I'm guessing they're looking forward to it. |
That's very cool......DFBB is timeless....Arena Rock should pimp it as new music to a new audience....quality product.....

Thread: Livgren's response to Into The Deep |

In my proud opinion,
The music of Kansas/Livgren spans the gamut. The Maestro is the greatest composer & has held that position, only recently to be challenged by Neal Morse.
That's my mantra & I'm stickin' to it.
BTW, Terry Scott Taylor's great, too.
Getting back on topic
Also, the address Waka waka waka referenced is true & accurate. It would be cool for Kerry to hear Terry, so make it happen, you Audies.

It was a slight exaggeration, Dorothy. I know Kansas City is not in Kansas, at least, not the big one. I've been to Wichita. Yeah for me. |
i've been to both sides of kansas city, and lived in wichita for two years.
i don't care for kansas the band, though. |

Welcome to Football Country, Bubba.
Yep, it's politics & it starts at the Little League level.
Your best bet to get your kid "playin' time", is to start when he's young, and be a volunteer coach.
Talent has nothing to do with it.
However.... if the coach is legit, he will play the best players at their best positions. When I was a LLA (Little League Asst.), assessing the talent & putting them in the best positions was the most fulfilling part.
Put pressure on the Coach & get him fired.
That's another southern football tradition.

Good news, Terry won. Maybe he can afford to get a newer DA t-shirt now than Vox Humana. |
With a million bucks, maybe he can fund the next Daniel Amos project.
Congrats to the great Terry Faver & his hosts of little buddies!

It's a shame that this has hurt feelings. Other than his Christianity, what has drawn most of us to TST is his humanity. Especially, his biting wit as Camarillo. He stepped all over my toes years ago by calling out my alma mater (along with a few dozen others) on Hide The Beer....but I respected it and yeah, being a rebellious fundamentalist, I kinda dug it.
BTW,
The Medley Of Our Hit rocks my foot coverings off.
What I fear is that TST (& Dr. Love on the Blackboard) will make fewer cyber-appearances as a result of messageboard drama. We should be proud that we, daMB members, were the subject of a song. I'm happy for the kudos given to the Audies on the tune as well. |
the song does rock my socks off!
i told my wife after the line about bd and his buddies, "honey, they are talking about me!"
she just said "huh"
anyways...... like nails said.... beating a dead horse...
if terry wrote a song that said joey is an idiot...
i would still probably listen to his music..
and my wife would get what i am talking about......

What's your problem?
Do you have a God Fixation?
You can't Beat The System.
You're acting like someone who has been Captured Between Time And Space.
You need to get Back To The Streets.
And Never Say Die.

I'm not willing to say that...........just yet.
As Andy would say to Barney, "It's mighty fine, Barn. Mmmmmm....mighty fine."
But I hold Zoom Daddy in my Top 5 of all-time.
