It's not the least bit flat! We all need some silliness in our lives (we adults are much too serious ~ that's why Jesus told us to come as a child!)
Relax! It's flat as a before picture of Britney. I'm not the only one who noticed when I played it. However, my opinion mean absolutley nothing, since it's my kid's current favourite CD.
And I've never not been acused of being silly. Nice to see I'm taken as a really serious person.
Baxter - no pie hole comments from you. You big galloot.

Uncle Stonehill's Hat
I haven't officially reviewed it, but in a nutshell it's okay, with some interesting moments, but the whole thing suffers from an element of flatness and unrealized potential. As an adult I wouldn't listen to it without good reason.
But it's a kid's album - and my kids 7, 5, 3 (my three reasons for listening) - think it's the greatest thing ever. I've had to listen to it over and over and over, and they love it. So if you've got little kids who like silly and lots of songs, you could do much worse that get this.
So there.

In all it was too bad we push the project out so close on the heels of the first one. I get the feeling that the board's appetite for a similar project just wasn't there.
Don't get me wrong, I think it's pretty good. But it may need to age a bit before people get curious enough to buy.
It really is something for everyone.

77s - Shotgun Angel? That was one of my first experiences with 77s, and almost put me off the band. It was so slow I thought they'd never finish the song. Part of me thought that someone played the record at 16 instead of 33 1/3

DW to the rescue. I heard about it on CBC radio one on the weekend, and it was supposed to be notorious B movie fun. Heck, Campbell rocks. You read his autobiography a year or so back? I scanned it in a bookstore and found him really funny and honest about his second banana career.
I can hardly wait for my boys to get older so we can watch Army of Darkness together. Theo, my Mom really thought that movie was a riot.
For those of you who don't get it, my Mom is a saint, she's so prim and proper and well, elegant you'd never guess I'm her son.
(dang, am I using an alias? Yup, it's daytime ... )

You won't get the point unless he turns around.
I guess if I had to choose a male celebrity butt, it would be Mel's - I don't think I could stand to see Michael Douglass' hairy rear on the screen again.
PS, Anyone see Mel on Leno last night?

I just wanted to use the word spam. SPAM. Besides this is STU STU STU. Bloody heck, I might not be an alias for a large headed waffle making goober.
Bushman, I agree with you about the Britney thread. I'll go out on a limb and proclaim that one as crap.
JevAsso.
