It was just before our 7th anniversary. Back in December of 1998.
They are still living together they have a son.
I don't actually miss her but I do miss the companionship.
Me - 3 1/2 years later I have a lot of woman (let's-just-be) friends.

I can take teenage promiscuity better than adultery- that's my moral relativism.

Ditto. I detest anything that promotes adultary. It's my pet peeve.
My wife left me for my closest male friend at the time.

Titanic was about the last movie my ex-wife and I watched while we were together.
She slipped and hit her head the next day - got concussion and can't remember the movie.
I'm jealous of her.

I also in 2000 did a cover of "William Blake" from the Vox Humana record... I did it w/ an electronica band called "Fearful Symmetry"...
If you wanted a copy of some of these covers of Terry songs, email me and I will message the mp3 over to you via MSN messenger...
Take care all...

Smith projects, "Live the Life", and "This is Your Time", he puts a little message like that before each song's lyrics, and the songs become so much more powerful since you understand what they are talking about. I wouldn't have even known that the song "This Is your Time" was about that martyred Christian girl at Columbine High if he didn't put the note before the song, and I would have missed the powerful message that "This Is Your Time" was literally referring to martyrdom. Anyhow, just a pet peave, not a crisis.

I actually perfer not to have the song spelt out to me. I perfer to use my brain and work it out for myself. also that way God can speak a whole lot.
Also just beacuase I like correcting incorrect things.
Cassy Burnell was not a martyr.
Witness's say that she was under the desk going "Oh God oh god..." When Klebold poked his head under the table went "Peek a boo" and shot her.
It was a guy who was already shot who was about to be killed who was asked "do you believe in God" Who answered "Yes - my parents brought me up that way" Then for some reason Klebold didn't finish him off.

http://www.salon.com/news/feature/1999/0...bine/index.html
There is also the question in that even if Cassie was asked and answered as per legend what makes a martyr?
Klebold and Harris were just killing anybody indiscriminantly. Was she killed for her faith or because she was there?

Guess what?
What?
The second package arrived today. Postmarked the 29th of August and still only $4.05 paid in postage.
I'll take it along to the post office and see if I can Return to Sender it without me paying.
I don't know what the frick happened to the first one.

Making God Smile turned up from Paste earlier in the week.
They had sent the replacement package early the week before.
The package that arrived was postmarked the 1st of July.
It looks like it was sent by sea rather than air.
USPS charged them $4.05 to post it that way.
They charged me $12.95 shipping. :/
I wonder if the replacement will turn up in a week or two months.
I have informed them the first package turned up (I was tempted not to but decided to be honest) and yes they do want them back.

I was going to renew my AC subscription when i ordered the hodge podge in mid August (as it expired on the 15th of August)
But I seemed to recall the Audioris saying that JT had said we shouldn't have to renew until the second AC disk is sent out.
Is my memory correct? Do I wait until disk 2 or do I clear off some more credit car and renew now?
Either way what's up with disk 2?
Terry singing some Christmas carols would be fun - it is getting to that time of year after all.

Y'know as much as I hate replying to myself (although I do find the conversation so uplifting)... a thought just occured to me.
If this whole name-it-and-claim-it prosperity doctrine were valid...
Can you imagine just how many cars Uncle Terry would own by now?
We should all have a few as well...

Thread: the name's Dieckmeyer... |

It was a dark and stormy night. I didn't feel like going out. The road was flooded anyway so I hit the 'net.
(We go down don't know how everybody's surfin' now )
Ah yes the 'net. That wonderful and glorious device - allowing anonymity and total public baring of souls all on the same page.
(Sight and sound the King is crowned and everybody is Surfin' now)
I went to the board and there was mischief afoot.
TM had decided to start playing games with my name and get people to write about me so I decided to do a little checking out of my own.
I did a google search on his name TM and it's everywhere.
(Sinking down they might drown and everybody's surfin' now)
It's like he's managed to worm his way into the life of every product, company logo and everything.
This is making me worried.
Time for a can of Cola - oh no! he's on the can too!
He's everywhere.
We can't escape him.
We can only pray for deliverance.

hmmmm
deep thinking.
hmmmmm
It's a pop rock brit rock sort of sound but I love it.
A kiwi band called "The Lad's" and their Lost at Sea album
http://www.theladsband.com
I'm going to their concert this Saturday night in fact
Lost at sea is available at http://www.christiandisks.com
The song Alone really helped me let out a lot of my grief and fears a few months after my marriage break up.
Heres the lyrics and comments from the band:
Alone
(Ben writing) "Everybody wants to be loved, or at least liked anyway. We seem to have an in-bulit mechanism that requires someone else to tell us we're alright. Unfortunately, we tend not to offer anyone else the acceptance we crave, never knowing that they have the same needs we do.
This song is about a place of loneliness, where in a world of 6 billion people someone can still be utterly alone. The song offers some answers to this painful existense, answers to who we need to accept love from, and the benefits to be gained from the relationship.
Our increasing isolation from, and fear of, each other is familiar to most of the western world and is possibly why this song was used on "Dawson's Creek".
I am alone in the darkness
Can You hear me now
Are You the same
Or are You different somehow
Can You reach me
Can I be sure that You won’t hurt me
If I let You in
Are You the same
Or are You different somehow
Can I trust You
If I gave You my heart
If I gave You my soul
Would You take me apart
Would You make me whole
(chorus)
Do You know my name
When the tears fall are You there to feel the pain
Can You reach me here
Can You give me what I’m looking for
Can You take away the fear
Can I trust You
They say that You could come and meet me
Are You really there
Are You the same or are You different somehow
Can You love me
If I gave You my heart
If I gave You my soul
Would You take me apart
Would You make me whole
[chorus]

Anyway I wanna know....

How many telethons and how many hodge podges got sold?
