ok - just got 3 CDs from m8, and I guess they were all part of their limited edition series - except the sale ones that I got have black jewel case edges that cover up some of the original artwork - if you peek under you see that it is supposed to say #__________ of 1000 or whatever the number is. But the line is blank. Does this mean they are making more copies now and selling them to whoever orders. I'm glad I got them and all, but it glows with warmth for the people thinking they were getting something really limited....

You misunderstood, Brdby.... |
|
....what M8 meant was that the QUALITY of their editions were limited.....

ahhhhhh - the truth at last - - - - - - - - I really haven't minded the quality that much. They seem pretty good for what they are usually - I mean - they are usually dredging up the demos and stuff that never saw the light of day - I like that kind of stuff -

I bought 88 by the 77's and my jewel case was broken! I had to go and buy another double CD jewel case!
if it were not for the Alarma Bookset M-8 would have done nothing very well!

I bet Bradley sat on it on purpose. He's probably a Catholic who secretly attends a United Penticostal Church.

M8 just had the Alarma bookset manufactured.
My brother and I made the masters, Tom Gulotta and we
supplied the pictures and most of the text. Brian Heydn
did all the artwork and layout. And the other writers
supplied their stories.
Pretty much all done really fast to hit a deadline.

So - why do other groups let M8 do the mastering and such??? Seems odd. Are they getting ready to shut down though?
Oh - and the Alarma bookset is about the coolest thing I own (musically speaking of course).
