But of course you can read it when it's done... for $9.95 at your local Wal-Mart! heh heh heh
I'm kind of at a loss of how to start shopping this around. I intentionally wrote it brief so that it would be cheap and a quick read. I can't help that the humor is geared towards men and generally men don't read any book longer than 100 pages unless those pages are littered with pictures of scantily clad women hawking alcoholic beverages.
Any ideas? Do the audioris want to get into publishing?

So your book is shorter than 100 pages, or it has scantily clad women?
Either way, it sounds like a good read.

hi dale -- yes i see him whenever he comes out to nashville, which is at least once or twice a year. he's still writing songs, although i'm not sure exactly who he's writing for or where he's getting songs placed. his publishing co. sets him up with various writers out here (that's why he comes out here) and he sits in a room with them and they try to come up with a song on the spot. he's one of the only guys i know who can write the strange sort of outside stuff he tipically writes but can also write really top-notch commercial stuff too. i think he's incredibly talented.

There are no scantily clad women in my book although for a small fee I could write one in...
Has anyone enjoyed the tunes of Thelonious Monster? Listening to it makes me thing it's something Tim would really latch onto... old school rock with a health dose of classic American punk.

I actually had the TV on last night while I was cutting my fingernails (so I could play geetar a little better) and there was some blurb about thelonius monk and Winston-Salem, NC, and 2 ladies from San Fran moving in and setting up a jazz club called the Speakeasy, if I remember correctly. They really did look like just business partners although I don't remember seeing them beside each other at any point.
There is a club here in Asheville, NC called Tressa's Downtown Jazz and Blues and if I remember correctly Tressa has a female partner for both business and pleasure!
Of course, they are transplants like most of the club folk in this town.

I spent a few days in Asheville NC for a wedding. We ate at a breakfast restaurant that just kept bringing out more and more food. Outside they had a guy in a pink suit jacket (my wife says it was mauve - like mauve would be better - it was pink) singing old southern gospel songs. My son still says that was his favorite restaurant in the world.

Asheville is really a melting pot. There are older, countrified, traditional local folks. There are older retired transplants, many from NY, CA, FL and elsewhere. Many "progressive" liberal folks. Somehow there seems to be few confrontational type issues. Rolling Stone called it something like the San Fran of the east at one point, I believe. Many of the small clubs' atmospheres seem more like Raleigh or Atlanta than here (also seems to be few locals there). There's lotsa small churches on lotsa street corners. A few big churches, come good, some almost cultic. A real mixed bag. Kinda like a mini-America.

I still laugh out loud thinking of Tom breaking that chair.
Recently we've gone over some of our memories of that
weekend and the things that were said.
We've been to all of Brian Quincy Adams concerts I think,
Choir-77s-Dogs related that is. We were at that basement
Choir show and the Dogs one too.
We will have to get down to Nashvegas one of these days...
maybe when we get this Buechners DVD done?
Does Booger Boy have a hearing problem?

Did he have Dakoda Motor Company once? Seems like I saw them in Q's basement too. I do remember a great show w/OTR there.
