This giant trail map resides at the base and displays all the lifts open for the day.

They are VERY proud of their Olympic history. Almost too proud...

The Funitel. "What the hell is a Funitel," you ask? It's a gondola that rides on two cables instead of just one. Twice as smooth... ooooohhhhhh...... aaaaahhhhhh......

Squaw is pretty wide open. Ski wherever you'd like.

Pretty wild stuff... areas like this are why Squaw was my favorite of the resorts we visited.

I think most of Squaw's trees are clustered here around this lift. The rest of the mountain is pretty wide-open.

Lots of great terrain with something for everyone. And a little blue sky doesn't hurt either.

One of the few areas of Squaw where you can actually make out unique trails. Most of the terrain is wide open.

There's nothing like being slope-side. If I go back to Tahoe, this would be my choice of lodging.

Straight up the middle is the famed KT-22 lift, accessing Squaw's best terrain. The left on the left is the Olympic Lady which rises to the steep bowl on the summit ridge. That bowl is the start of the women's downhill course!
