  When Worlds Collide Part II

Hey Guys,

Does anyone know the status of When Worlds Collide Part II? I know it's been discussed here before, but it has been awhile. Also, who has actually submitted their songs for it?

Right now we're just trying to get a full CDs worth of music.

We have maybe 8 or 9 songs total... we'd like to get up to at least 15-18, like "part 1" had. We've slowly been getting more songs.. I think there are one or two bands finishing songs right now that should be sending them to us pretty soon. We've got probably 10 other bands and artists that have been saying for the last couple of years that they really want to do a song. So far, their schedules have kept it from happening (or at least, kept them from finishing).

So far we have songs from (to name a few) Allan Aguire of Scaterd Few/Spy Glass Blue, John Austin, Robert Deeble, Jesse Sprinkle & the World Inside, Atomic Opera, The Electrics, and others.

Thanks so much for the info. You guys are great. I wish there was something we could do to help those others hurry up and submit there songs, but alas.

Well, if you guys get totally stuck - you could always bug BD and take some bits from the Fan disk when it's finished.

We did talk to Flemming and John actually, and
they considered it for the original disc and
their label wouldn't let them. Then after they
left the label they thought about it again.
They were originally interested in the song "William Blake"
but John said he dusted off his Alarma and Doppelganger
albums.

We also have the DaDL tribute songs ...but have to
get the funds together to print it.

I don't know how many people will want the DAmb It Fan disc, I don't think it will be more than 30???? I could be wrong though. But after the initial run of CD's, I figure I could put all the artwork and MP3's on a website for people to download and print their own copy.

I think you were planning more copies than that for the DaDl disc, but maybe you could do the same sort of thing? And give people a password or something to access the downloads. That would cut down on printing costs, and get it out there sooner than later.

I really don't know what was planned for the DaDl disc, so this idea may not work at all for it.

Okay, I've heard a lot of talk about the DamB it disk - how does one get their hands on it now?
