Very cool! Is that really Tim on the right?

Looks like him to me.

If only I would have known who they were back then...

Yes, that is Tim Chandler on the right--Jerry, Terry, store owner Tom, Ed and Tim.

That's what time-travel is for!
Well worth the trip. They put on a great show!
Bring me back a DA pin, I think I lost mine. I had it on in the second photo above, though.

I understand; I discovered Daniel Amos in 1983. I did recognize all of the band members in the picture except Tim. Somehow, he looks the most different. Maybe it's the mustache.

nice photos!

I saw a YouTube video of DA and Randy Stonehill from the early 80s performing Randy's song
Die Young--one of my favorites. Tim is sporting his 'stash in that video.
My wife and I were fortunate enough to see DA and Randy Stonehill, but couldn't believe it when DA was his band. He couldn't fail to be a hit!

If you've seen the pictures of him from LIVE BOOTLEG '82, he shouldn't be so hard to recognize here.

Coincidently, I just got a new (good quality) preamp for my turntable and the vinyl that I tested it with is......Between The Glory and the Flame! I put it on when I read this and it's playing now.
My 12 year old son and I met Randy a couple of years ago at Parachute Festival here in NZ and so I played Die Young for him. We had just watched the YouTube link posted here for the same song. Very cool!

Nice photos (but they definitely shouldn't be in the Off Topic Discussion section)

I wasn't sure of the right place to put these photos. Mods, feel free to move them to a more appropriate location.

Well, now I gotta ask the most commonly asked question heard around the world: At what age did you become a Daniel Amos fan?
Posted by wayneb on 05-17-2015 at17:30:
I remember when the "Shotgun Angel" album was released here. I was at University, studying to be a teacher in 1978. I didn't buy it.....but got my first vinyl of "Horrendous Disc" not too long after.
I slowly began collecting backwards and forwards until I had everything else that was available on vinyl at the time (except for "Fearful Symmetry" which I could only get on cassette...).
Of course, CD's changed all that and I had to start over again, including paying a horrendous price for "Symmetry" on CD from a certain online "rad" store that is now no more. (OK, it was $95US plus shipping to NZ).
I recently got the vinyl of "Dig Here", so perhaps the cycle will start again! (although I kept all my vinyls of the original releases).
