  Hey Tim Chandler

I told the story of your little one's dream, The Monster & the Ice Cream, at our Tenebrae service on Good Friday. It is how I opened up the Eucharist. We are all monsters deserving death, but the Father invites us to the Table of Grace. Just wanted to let you know.

S E update ? Cool

Posted by Mark on 04-15-2004 at09:09:

Good question Dale.

Posted by tchandler on 04-15-2004 at09:19:

honestly, folks -- i personally haven't heard anything new. the only info i've received is that camarillo is currently writing songs.

i'm sure that when there's something to pass along, berger will be the first to pass it, (no unsightly pun intended.)

Hey Tim,

Yeah, what he said! A second helpin' o' dat from me to you! Pleased

And I really do think Berger should crash Camarillo's party at some point and help turn the excellent and masterful into spectacular and brilliant! Smile )

Posted by tchandler on 04-15-2004 at09:53:

thanks dennis and MF --

rumor has it that camarillo, after writing the basic songs, will travel to lubbock at some secretly appointed time in hopes of catching berger when he's not on some lost-weekend windex huffing bender. at that point he'll try to focus berger on playing bass parts to the new eddies tunes.

Hey Tim,

are you going to the GMA showcase next week? i know it sounds crazy, but Neal Morse will be doing a 30 minute set. Should be great.

  Neal Morse

If you haven't heard his 2-disc solo "Testimony", get out and buy it now. Rick Altizer, Mike Portnoy (Dream Theater) and Kerry Livgren all guest on it...

Plus the recent Spock's Beard disc "Feel Euphoria" is pretty kinda super too.

Phil K on Testimony:

"I believe Neal Morse has a masterpiece recording with Testimony! It is rich with wonderful music and musicianship, and lyrically tells the honest story of a man's search for life and innocence again. His straightforward approach is disarming, as the great production pulls you in closer to the message. I found myself saying, "How come I never heard of this artist until just recently"? I recommend this double CD to anyone who loves music in all its diversity and passion and who are also looking for a true, honest and resounding testimony."

hey baxter--

um, i hope no one reads too much into this, but i try to stay away from GMA these days as much as possible.

Posted by baxter on 04-15-2004 at10:49:

Tongue!

Understood, but i would allow someone to drag me there to hear DA or Neal.

Posted by tchandler on 04-15-2004 at10:55:

i've never been a big prog rock fan. i've heard a bit of spock's beard and will admit that they seemed to have a little different twist...
