Historic Early Da Recordings To Be Released! *Updated!*
For the first time ever, DanielAmos.com presents a special collector's
edition release featuring early rare recordings of Jubal's Last Band,
recorded in 1973 and 1974. Less than a year later, JLB would become Daniel
Amos and record their first song for Maranatha! Music. This release will
include a number of demos as well as live recordings of the band in San
Jose, CA 1974. Jubal's Last Band was Terry Taylor, Steve Baxter, Chuck
Starnes and Kenny Paxton. Songs include "Holy Rollin' Again," "Ain't Gonna
Fight It," "What Kind Of Revolution, "William," "Freedom," (early version
of "Love In A Yielded Heart"), "The wrong side of the bed Blues," "The
Bible," "Dusty Road," "The Light Of The Word" and "Calvary Road".
We are now accepting orders for this special project exclusively at
DanielAmos.com for only $15. Note: This is release is currently being
produced. (Orders are expected to ship within 2-3 weeks.)
Well i have mine ordered

I think I am going to have to take the mindset that I will be supporting a ministry of sorts and by buying these projects am making a donation. Instead of a tax deduction, we will get music, video, and art!

Yeah!
Ministry Support... That's how I felt about the SE pre-order and the pre-order I made of Bill Mallonee's "Pin My Hope." I love these guys, I want to support them in making this music through which God has ministered to me and others (since stupid record labels can't seem to do the job). I like the whole grassroots/small community of fans thing. If only the community of fans would extend; way too many people are missing out on this great music/art/ministry!

So purchasing TST recordings is a tithe?

hmmmm... i was just thinking "so what?" this will be stuff like on the first album which i never, ever, ever play.....
but since you put it that way.........

Yeah, the Jubal's stuff may not appeal to all of the fans.. but
hopefully, many will buy it just for the historical value and
just to hear how the band started out... the main goal with
this project is to help Terry out right now with his current bills
and hopefully put some extra money towards the Eddies project.
We need every order we can get right now.

I plan on buying it... I am not sure how many spins it will get though!
Cool deal to have though!

Any chance the song heard on "Son-Worshippers" will make the cut?

I just ordered mine.

Waiting for Imaginarium
I'll unfortunately have to wait until the next credit card cycle to hit before I can order.
Someone posted that a copy of Imaginarium hit the big bucks on eBay. Now I know it's difficult to pony up the bucks up front, especially if you've lost the name of the original manufacturer, but it seems like money spent this way would have long-term payback. But since I don't have the numbers in front of me and the brothers Audioris do, I'll bow to your greater mathematical abilities.

Maranatha 5
Speaking of historic recordings...
I picked up a copy of Maranatha 5 on vinyl LP yesterday at the Thrift Store! I also got Phil Keaggy's "Master and the Musician" and Don Francisco's "Gotta Tell Somebody." I was so excited to see those lying on the floor! 50 cent special!

We thought about putting some Good Shepherd, which
is pre-Jubal's Last Band demos on as bonus tracks. Thats
the stuff on the Son Worshippers.. it's credited there as
Terry, Tim and Doug.
Not sure, we have some live JLB as well, and some other
pre-DA material. We have to discuss that. We want to use
the coolest tracks but kind of keep some sort of consistancy.
Oh yeah and we are looking at putting the Son Worshippers
out as well. We got permission from Weldon Hardenbrook.
We need contact with Bob Cording if any of you Cali dudes
happen to know him...hard guy to track down.

I ordered. Man, I would have ordered sooner, but this is the first time I've been here since last night. Perhaps audiori need to page me or something for important stuff like this.
