Poll on eBay auction postings.
Do you mind if eBay auctions for DA/TST-related items are posted on the DAMB?

Hey, be shameless, I am

dorf wouldn't have half as many posts if he couldn't post about his e-bay auctions. Hmmm, can I change my vote?
jk
I don't mind if people post about music they have available on e-bay. That's a good way to find music you don't already have. And if you aren't interested, you don't have to read all the posts.

I don't mind, but I also thought - hey, maybe the DA webstore could charge it's own listing fee since it might very well result in them getting more $ for the title.
Posted by bereal on 02-15-2005 at14:49:
That's a great idea! Then DA could make some money to help toward the cost of another project.

No, I don't mind, but that doesn't mean I'm not gonna give anyone who does grief! If they are not a regular poster most of all!

Kinda depends to me... I generally don't mind. But it does kinda
bother me a little if its a title that we have for sale here and the
bands trying to raise money. If its something the band isn't selling
and ther is no other good way of getting a copy...it doesn't bother
me at all.
If people think its a good idea...we could make a section called
DA market or something just for the ebay auction stuff..
don'ty really matter to me though.

It bothers me when it's someone's first post!
And yes, if it's something for sale in the web-store!
Posted by DaLe on 02-15-2005 at16:35:
No, I don't mind because I'm looking for OOP titles.
I really don't mind either way... the Market is what it is...
OOP or not.
AJ, you do ebay right?
maybe list regular webstore stuff on ebay
some people just buy on ebay not from webstores. (not sure why)
a few months ago I saw a "When Worlds Collide" CD go for like $27 on ebay
strange...

agreed. Same thing on the 77s board. I do think its a good idea to have a section where we can let each other know if we find out of print stuff for sale so people can complete thier collection.

That's the truth!
Posted by bereal on 02-19-2005 at23:00:
And if anyone knows that, dorf would know!
Posted by dorfsmith on 02-19-2005 at23:51:
I have 80 things on ebay right now
Posted by PuP on 02-20-2005 at00:35:
