  Sacred Cows

I just played Sacred Cows for one of my interns. He's not a Terry fan, yet, but he's going to be! He loved it! He enjoys "fun" music. He was a huge Stryper fan in the day. He loved "Sing Along Song." How about winning a fan over to Terry's music with Sacred Cows? Who'd of thunk it!

  Stryper?

Amazing, considering that's the one song I always skip over! Never could listen to it or sing along, and I guess that's the irony on Scared Cows anyway.

When I loan out the CD, reactions are varied, but invariably they always crack up over the C*rm*n tune. Sometimes at church we still get into stitches when someone walks by me and says with the lisp "Ttthatan, bite the duttttht!"

LOL!!!! Even "fundies" have a sense of humor!

Of course fundies have a sense of humor, and we're all in the family together. Yeah, he cracked up over the C-Man song too, how can one not?

My fave is "I Love crap Music," but for my friends I play "Baby, Baby"--because they actually know the original.

My favourie is "Not for me"

It's so funny having a guy singing "He's not for me, He'll just want to change me"

I'd love to lip-sync that at a church concert and see the reactions (I'd be dressed and acting real camp) but I don't think I"ve got the guts to do so.

I just played Sacred Cows for my parents and they loved it. They really enjoyed Big House. They hated it when that song was sung every Sunday at their Church.

There is something real bizzare about the music behind "God Good Devil Bad" ....I like that. Sort of like a polka
gone melencholy punk... or I have no idea... and Terry's strange accent adds to that effect.

"God Goood, Debil Bad... its a elimentary truth..
da law of da land.. God Goood, Debil Bad... "

When I was a Teenager, our Music/Youth minister
used to be a C*rm*n, D&K and Al Denson fan and would
drag the youth kids to see such wonderful acts.
Frankly I was "More Miserable Than You'll ever Be"
The first time I heard "Sacred Cows" all I could do was
laugh that my favorite band was sort of displaying
the same attitude toward those songs as we had.

And the flip side, our Music/youth minister didn't
get DA or any of the music we liked at all.. he was
too shallow. (Don't even ask where he is now.)
