Surprise Beatles Project Set for Winter Release

Why it was kept a secret since all those years ago will soon

be found out, as its scheduled to come out just after

Thanksgiving. Amazingly, after their breakup was awkwardly

confirmed through an insert in the self-titled McCartney

album,

released in 1970, The Beatles brought themselves together

at

McCartney's then new

ranch for two and a half short weeks to try to patch things

up one last time. Fourteen

mainly loud and

angry tracks were recorded, displaying the tensions they

were experiencing at the

time. An angry song at their record company woes, "Apple

Money Tree", a Harrison composition, is among the many

songs completed for their

shortly after archived project. Amazingly the musicianship,

however, in spite of the tension, was more grittier, tight,

and focused then ever before, much in the style of The

Who's

"Live at Leed's" which was also recorded in that time

period. Another gritty yet very smart rocker, Lennon's "Pulling the

Leg", was to be the album opener, which begins strangely,

yet tastefully, with a very lovely dulcimer melody.

"Pulling the Leg" is the story of a man on who posts

messages to a public board regularly, and decides to make

up a wild story about a famous band's unreleased music.

HA HA!!!! SUCKERS!!!!! FOOLED YA!!!!!!!!! HEH HEH HEH HEH!!!

Hope you enjoyed the post anyways. nyuk nyuk nyuk

what's the story on this one? was that what Gene was working on at the time of his death??

This was actually listed in CCM bookstore catalogs and is still listed on Amazon, though it was never completed.

I'm not actually sure whether anything was recorded. This album kind of has the same story as Green Room Serenade Part Two.
