Well, I haven't had the privilege of hearing DFBB or Horrendous Disc yet; so at this point to me, it seems that their magnum opus is MBD, my favorite song, among several classic DA songs on this stellar disc, being "My Beautiful Martyr".

I really like that TST song he did for Ojo's Relative project: "He Fell in the Water".

Now that one chokes me up BIG TIME! Crying

I like that whole project. Much cooler than I was expecting. It's one of my favorite things.

Maybe I'll get to hear DFBB one day? I haven't heard anything but the title track and "Earth Household."

Here's what my uncle had to say about DFBB: It sounded like Terry's first solo project, which was also bad. I mean, "Earth Household!!?!?!" What were they thinking!?

He had also commented that DA had completely lost it on "Fearful Symmetry" and were already starting to lose it on Vox Humana. I commented, "well the first half was good," and he was like, "yes, the first half." Tongue

I've always liked "the pool" and "catch that angel" and "steal away" and "beautiful one" - I guess I like Terry the balladeer.

i can't argue with that. But then i couldn't argue with Joey and DFBB. When it comes to the boys' top work, how do you discriminate between very great and the greatest?

Posted by dorfsmith on 01-20-2003 at23:40:

It's all great! Greatest is the song you keep skipping back to now matter how many times you hear it. DFBB Big Grin
