My $6.00 deal went bust. I got an email from GEMM saying
the item was unavailable. First time that has happened
to me.

  Hey bro!

Hey there good doctor!

Oh yeah, I'll go if I can find one in my area (Chicagoland).

Missed you @ the fest this year. (Were you there?) Met Dale U., which was very cool. It's like our own private little club when we can come and be recognized solely from our shirts.

Glad you were looking for me! Smile

  time (or lack thereof)

Yeah, Minn/St. Paul is ~9 hrs. from my area tho. Given my work responsibilities in the coming month (software release time), sadly it doesn't seem likely.

bummer....

  Regrets

Sadly, given the day and date it's too far for me. Sundays in general are out because of church, esp. for such a long distance. Plus, with what's happening at work now it's not a good time to go lollygagging up to the land of Jesse. ("Minn-a-sooo-ta")

But I may try to see about reserving some spots at the Charleston, IL one.

Anyone know who's sponsoring that one?

Posted by DaLe on 07-30-2003 at17:14:

Jeffery K. is however, it is a private lo fi records show...

  Drat

Ah nuts.

Okay, stupid question, maybe I just missed it. How does one tell what's a private "insider" one and what's more open?

Posted by Ron E on 07-30-2003 at22:02:

I emailed the contact guy (there is updated info if you click on the dates on the main page) in Detroit, he told me his was private.

8/10 - Charleston, IL
Open to the public.

is that one too far for you...?

I would just e-mail anyone that is having one.
they may have a "FeW" open spots, it can not hurt to ask, either...

tell them the DAmb sent you...

I am sure some of the private ones are in small places, so they may have space restrictions...
