I cried when Gene passed away. It still shakes my world. I'll never get a wonderful conversation I had with him. He was a great artist.

yea, you are right it has been along time...
but if you do not surf the net on a daily basis you can miss alot...
I mean there are still people that come here looking for
DFBB or
SE Lets Spin
and they have been out of print for like TeN years...

There are a lot of fans that have lost touch with these bands
simply because there was nowhere to read about them.
CCM rock radio is few and far between, the magazines that
talk about them is few and far between, if you don't have
internet....where do you go to keep up?

i havent been in this particular music scene in probably close to ten years. got outta the whole christion thing to be honest but there are still some bands that i hold very dear to my heart and believe to be not only genuine in their beliefs but also true artists in every sense of the word. DA is definitely at the top of that very short list. it breaks my heart to here about genes death however belated the news may be. i had to break the news to a friend of mine who was had met and talked with gene on many occasions but had fallen out of touch with him. that sucked. anyway thanks for filling me in and not making too much fun of my lack of info. oh and by the way, i heard all about JFK. oliver stone killed him.
