Heh. How about Pretentious Poetry Readings with a New Zealand Accent?

Sorry, Andrew, I've already volunteered to do a track called "Pretentious Poetry from the Heart." I'll do accented readings ala "Pretentious Poetry Reading" of Dr. Ed for lyrics off "Songs of the Heart." I still need to pick which accents to do and with which songs.... This will be fun!

Arrgh!

Now I've got to think of something else.

Last night I dug out the 4-track, recorded a cover of Darn Floor - Big Bite. I had just finished the bass and "thump" track when Uncle Ralph shows up all jacked up on model airplane glue. anyway he played what he called his "kazoo f/x" (it sounded more like wax paper on a comb, but whateverBig Grin )

at any rate, I mixed it ont a tape and mailed it off last night BIg Dork!

You should get it by the end of the week, and oh yes, it glows with warmth big time! Smile )

  best fan tribute ever

Hey! Maybe everyone could send in a DA Christmas message as well. You know, like the Beatles used to send out to their fan club every year only in our case the fan club'll be sending it to DA! Okay?!

Hey Andrew, do what ever you want! If LN can put 2 versions of the same DA song on an album then why can't we! I'm sure yours would be very different, and I'll space them out so they're not right together.

Do what you're comfortable doing! (huh?)

I may be some sort of heritic but I don't find S&P that funny.

The lounge singers bits just bug me.

I'm jumpin' on the DAMB wagon....

I just sent this as an e-mail, but if it's still open, I will contribute "The Shape of Air" as rendered on trumpet (trust me-you do NOT want to hear me sing).
