I got my copy of the DFBB re-issue in the mail yesterday and it looks and sounds great. I enjoyed the interviews on the CD and the thoughts from all the band in the booklet.
I always kinda wondered if "Divine Instant" was about sex, cuz it sure seemed like it was, and the music always struck me as "porn-tastic" so it there ya have it.
I say anyone who enjoys this record should buy this re-issue.
It fits into my DFBB collection nicely. I think this is my 5th copy!

I have always said Divine Instant was my favorite song on there!
Divine Instant
from the album "Darn Floor - Big Bite"
Words and Music by Terry Taylor, Tim Chandler, and Greg Flesch
©1987 Broken Songs (ASCAP)
Where there are no things, there is no time
I see space existing only where there are things
But we find ourselves here, It's the right time for love
In this divine instant we are time standing still
Had nothing past there would be no past time
Had nothing existed there would be no future
Yes, we found ourselves there, felt enduring desire
In that divine instant we heard eternity whisper
I hear the clock on the wall, I see the skull beneath the skin
We find ourselves here, It's the right time for love
In this divine instant we are time standing still
Can't fight this will to live and love
To always need you, die in your arms
Yes, we found ourselves there, felt enduring desire
In that divine instant we heard eternity whisper
Yes, we find ourselves here, It's the right time for love
In this divine instant we are time standing still
We are time standing still...
We are time standing still...

Been listening to DFBB in the car this week.
Still the best record of all time in my book.
I love the extras! What a real treat this set is!

I'm a doctor and I have got to agree. DFBB is awesome. My 6 year old loves the first 3 songs, but he loves DFBB the most. I remove any other CD and put that in, cue up #3 and put it on repeat when he gets in the car to go to school.

That's funny. My 13-month-old really likes Safety Net. I do the same as you except with track #5.

At 13 months, that's some excellent musical taste.

She likes
The Incredible Shrinking Man a lot too. And Kansas and Proto-Kaw (but not Neal Morse, though). She also likes Kirk Franklin and Yolanda Adams.
It's funny, though. Our cell phone plays MP3's so we have a bunch of songs on there. We have it play "random" and then let her carry it around (because she loves music). Anyway, one time, after a few songs had played, Steven Curtis Chapman comes on and she throws the phone and starts fussing.
Yeah, that's daddy's girl.

But what did he do to "darn" the floor?

Yuck! I've been there before...not with a child, but with dogs. Man, darn floor!

Forget good taste, she's absolutely brilliant!

Indeed.
