  Wow man!

Whoa, man! This is really strange. I am a long time fan as well (since SA days), mostly end up reading the posts (as I find it hard to keep my end up on any discussions- time constraints), I have a daughter named Melody (who sings-she's 18 tho), we're working on getting our submission in, I have a Digital 8 camera that was initially purchased to keep up with her singing, and I play guitar in a worship group (did play bass for a time). I sure hope this isn't one of those "meet up with yourself in a time warp" things. I hate when that happens...... Wait a minute, your name wouldn't happen to start with "Berger" would it?

In any case, welcome from a fellow lurker!

JB

Big Grin My daughter (Melody, age 11) and I 'performed' a song written by Gene Eugene (music) and Terry Taylor (lyrics) called "In The Calling" that was recorded by Ricki Michelle on her CD titled, "one moment please." This CD was also produced by Terry Taylor. I have a practice we recorded on Digital 8 video and plan to submit the audio and a still frame or two. I need to get crackin' to meet the deadlines, especially for the pix. I've not done much recording audio to computer, anyone have a suggestion on how to do it simply yet with good quality? Thanks. By the way, thanks to (most) all of you posters for your entertaining messages - I get many chuckles. It's even better since it all centers around the band and songwriter that have been my absolute favorite since Alarma! was first released on vinyl! (If any of this posts wierd, hey! it's my first post!) I'm off to bed now...

Hey buffalo - is that your picture (with your daughter) on BigDork's site?????

  Answers?

Yes, brdhsnyrsoul, that's Melody at the mic and keyboard and me with the guitar.

jwaltb: "It's astounding, time is fleeting, madness takes its toll. But listen closely, not for very much longer; I've got to keep control. Do it! I remember doing the time warp..." (Do you know what this is from?)
And from DA, "Get ready to confront your double..."
My name does not begin with Berger, but, my first name does end with "ger." (Or as Melody says, it ends with "GRRR!")

Booger!

Posted by jwaltb on 10-02-2002 at12:10:

Could that be Rocky Horror? And as for the Berger comment, I guess you'd have to be on the DADL email list to fully appreciate that (sorry for the cross-reference). It seems our favorite bass player (Tim C of course) has been having some crazy goings on with his double/nemesis, Berger Roy Al. Thought maybe he was expanding his territory.....
Hey, your Melody even sounds like mine. She'd probably tag me with a "grrrr" as well (that or growl back!).

I'd rather be a poopyhead than a booger. At least I can take a shower. You just get flicked into a urinal.
