For some reason AF is the TST album I play the least. Just can't get into it all that much. And I even go country line dancing every Friday.

Jonny

I think maybe at 100 they start, cannot remember that far back, sorry.

It's 100 posts. At 250 you get a second star and at 500 a third. And I'm almost there!!!

Thanks. I've only studied Spanish, French, Catalan, Portugues, Italian, and German--no Latin. So I just didn't know that one.

I know there's a Lost Dogs tour coming up in the Fall. What if we know someone with good video equipment who might be able to record the concert?

John Wayne was my favorite TST album. I think I may like LITTLE, big better. But I John Wayne comes first with perhaps LITTLE, big and A Briefing for the Ascent tying for second.

Actually, I'd like to see a real Eddies or DA video. Something that could be played on MTV2 or VH1 (not MTV--too teeny-boppy.)

Well that's better than writing a whole string of posts without responding to anyone else. I don't know who would do a thing like that.

Also, for the guy that was "miffed" about not seeing a track number for the bonus track...well, it would have looked odd to have a record called "Ten Songs" and then list 11 tracks! But really...it's how Greg Lawless wanted it, and I agreed with his thoughts on it, so it stayed hidden. It was either hide the track, or have a second disc with one song, and that would have been lame.

I said "at first I was miffed." I thought that I'd heard about a bonus track but then there was none. When I found that the bonus track was included, all miffed feelings went away. My miffness was only due to thinking the bonus track did not exist, not that it wasn't listed.

Just wanted to clarify.

I love the CD re-release!!!

And it would be odd to list an 11th track on 10 Song.

You knuckleheads! Sheesh!

What? They Might Be Giants rock!! I remember "Little Birdhouse in your Soul" being the most popular song on my first religious retreat. We all sang it non-stop that weekend.

For me the Tenth Song is the real gem. The lyrics alone are haunting, touching, and inspiraional. I love piano, and the goth-type etherial music that comes in after the lyrics finish then followed by a reprise of Babylon....WOW!!! And this was pre-Enigma. Sort of reminds me of This Mortal Coil.

I find that it does take several listens to find the brilliance of Daniel Amos' music. Sometimes I don't even care for an album much but then after several more listens I come to enjoy, and later love.

I hope this line isn't true. My little bird's wing is clipped and if she could take free flight, it would be quite dangerous for her.
