So you're not reading the thread, but you are posting to the thread? Hmmmm... So I can write whatever I want to here Joey T won't read it because he's not reading this thread (at least not till his DVD comes, so that gives me at least a few days, right?)

I saw that Radiohead did a book special release of Amnesiac. I think it was in a book. I can't remember. A friend of mine is a huge Radiohead fan and has it.

You're kidding!! Thank God I got mine first time out. My ¡Alarma! bookset was one of the few CDs I took to Spain in it's original cover (everything else went into a CD holder.)

I wish more groups did booksets like DA did on the ¡Alarma! Cronicles.

This is my favorite part of the video. It's just too funny. I showed a friend too and he couldn't help laughing (despite thinking most of the rest was stupid.)

I just got my "10 Songs by Adam Again." It had been years since I'd listened to my cassette (must be burried in a box somewhere.) I've listened to it at least 5 times already.

It's one of those albums you can just listen to over and over again. It reminds me of how I felt when I got the Eddies "Let's Spin" or the Choir's "Wide-Eyed Wonder."

At first I was miffed because I didn't see a bonus track listed nor an 11th track, but then I fast forwarded to the hidden track. Great acoustic version!!

This is a wonderful album, if you've not ordered it, I suggest you do so!

You don't have Real Men Cry either? "Cain" is the best LD song, IMHO. It's their best use of harmonies. A haunting sound. Get it!!

even better than "Eleanor it's raining now?"
I have a hard time believing that Wink

Hard to believe, but true! Check it out! "Cain" is classic. I was shocked when they didn't play it in concert when they came through St. Louis.

I think the issue of drinking is also very cultural. It seems that in the United States there is this "anti-alcohol" idea in many Christian communities. But go to Europe (Where Christianity has a much longer history and plays a much bigger role in society) and there is no anti-alcohol sentiment. Wine is a part of dinner, drinking during celebrations is natural.

I just think this thread has a very Ameri-centric view of approaching scripture and the issue of drinking.

I've lived in Europe twice and I'm still amazed at how different religion and Christiany is on each side of the ocean. It almost makes me wonder what happened?

How many albums did Adam Again do? I ordered two Adam Again CDs off BMG, one is a double CD (Homeboys/Digs), the other is Worldwide Favorites. I picked up the Cornerstone Tribute at the Lost Dogs concert in St. Louis. 10 Songs is on order. How many more to I need to get to have them all?

I finally found the Pat Robertson interview. I didn't press down again. Why didn't people say it was an Easter Egg?

It was quite funny. Especially since when growing up my mom was the biggest 700 Club fan and followed Pat Robertson so faithfully (luckily she's gotten over her obsession.) This is a great thing to have on DVD!!

No particular loyalties to the Beach Boys here, but I do like "Making God Smile." Some good stuff there.

I don't see much Beach Boys sound in LITTLE, big. So I guess we just see the album slightly differently.

This is why I keep getting his music. It amazes me how much TST's work inspires me to be more expressive in my own art. He's music hits me on a truly emotional level. You feel the music rather than just listen to it or even experience it.

I posted this months back when I did it, but I'll post it again. I did a two CD set of my Daniel Amos faves (only Daniel Amos/DA.)

Disc I: DA·76·87
1 · Skeptic's Song · Daniel Amos · 1976
2 · Father's Arms · Shotgun Angel · 1977
3 · Better · Shotgun Angel · 1977
4 · Hound of Heaven · Horrendous Disc · 1978
5 · Man in the Moon · Horrendous Disc · 1978
6 · Love Has Open Arms · DA Live Bootleg '82 · 1982
7 · ¡Alarma! · ¡Alarma! · 1981
8 · Cloak & Dagger · ¡Alarma! · 1981
9 · C&D Reprise · ¡Alarma! · 1981
10 · Endless Summer · ¡Alarma! · 1981
11 · Hollowman · Doppelgänger · 1983
12 · Mall (All Over the World) · Doppelgänger · 1983
13 · Real Girls · Doppelgänger · 1983
14 · Hollow Man (Reprise) · Doppelgänger · 1983
15 · William Blake · Vox Humana · 1984
16 · Dance Stop · Vox Humana · 1984
17 · The Pool · Fearful Symmetry · 1986
18 · Neverland Ballroom · Fearful Symmetry · 1986
19 · Instruction Thru Film · Fearful Symmetry · 1986
20 · Return of the Beat Menace · Darn Floor - Big Bite · 1987
21 · Darn Floor - Big Bite · Darn Floor - Big Bite · 1987
22 · The Unattainable Earth · Darn Floor - Big Bite · 1987

Disc II: DA·91·01

1 · Big, Warm, Sweet, Interior Glowing · Kalhoun · 1991
2 · Kalhoun · Kalhoun · 1991
3 · Virgin Falls · Kalhoun · 1991
4 · Buffalo Hills (acoustic mix) · Motor Cycle Tracks · 1993
5 · Building a "Motor Cycle" · Motor Cycle Tracks · 1993
6 · Guilty · Motor Cycle · 1993
7 · Low Crawls & High Times · Bibleland · 1994
8 · She's Working Here · Bibleland · 1994
9 · Can't Take My Eyes Off of You · Songs of the Heart · 1995
10 · Get Back Into the Bus, Aloha · Songs of the Heart · 1995
11 · When Everyone Wore Hats · Songs of the Heart · 1995
12 · The Author of the Story · Mr. Buechner's Dream · 2001
13 · I Get to Wondering · Mr. Buechner's Dream · 2001
14 · Beautiful Martyr · Mr. Buechner's Dream · 2001
15 · Joel · Mr. Buechner's Dream · 2001
16 · Small Great Things · Mr. Buechner's Dream · 2001
17 · Easy For You · Mr. Buechner's Dream · 2001
18 · Steal Away · Mr. Buechner's Dream · 2001

As you can see, it was impossible for me to make one CD with all my faves. And I wanted a collection with tracks from all albums and that showed the progression of their work.

I plan to do the same with TST and the Eddies. Later I'll do the Dogs, but I wanna do TST and SE now. I love having a CD burner!!

Several months back I made my own double CD of my "best of" Daniel Amos. It took 2 full CDs. I put about 2-4 songs from each album on (MBD had several more because it's so DAmb good.)

I like your selection. We've got some of the same faves off different albums.
