Don't Forget 10 Gallon Hat, possibly th most addictive song Terry ever wrote. And You Told Them Exactly What I Didn't Say is a fun sing-along song. (Have we missed any?)

An how could you say he was one-dimensional. The guy played a cop, a marine, a calvary officer, a cowboy, an outlaw, a rancher,...

The bus SUCKS! Frown I done the St Paul to Chicago trip and it was awful enough! Frown

Took the bus down to St. Louis for a wedding one time. Started in Waterloo, Iowa and got as far as Cedar Rapids (approximately 55 miles) before I had a 1 hour lay over, which ended up being 2 hours, because the bus was having mecahincal problems. Finally got going again. As we pulled into the Quad Cities, our bus driver, who had already proved himself to be a jerk, saw some buddies at a bar next to the mall on the edge of town. He pulled into the mall lot, told everybody to be back in 45 minutes, and went over to have a few. When we finally pulled into the depot, the bus I was supposed to transfer to had alreay left, so i got rerouted through Bloomington, Ill. As we got off the bus for a two hour lay-over, I noticed them outting the lugage in a shed next to the depot. Went inside the depot, called my friend who was supposed to be picking me up to tell him I would be at least 7 hours late, and they announced that the depot was closing and we would all have to wait outside. The next bus finally arrived. When the bus started to pull away, I mentioned to the driver that my lugage was stil there. He assured me he had all the lugage. I insisted that he didn't. He insisted that he did. I informed him that he didn't, because i had seen them put the bags in the shed and he hadn't gone near it. He informed me that they wouldn't have put the bags there because they knew he did not have a key to the shed. Realizing this conversation was fruitless. I settled back in my seat. The bus was pretty full, so I had to sit next to a guy who spent the time telling me about all the things he had stolen during the Rodney King riots. (This was about two months after.) He had gotten in trouble as a result, and had gone to live with relatives in Pennsylvania until things died down. Well we drove a half hour, stopped at McDonalds. After stopping a near fight between two people on the bus because one person ate the other's fry, we were on the road again. I was able to get into St. Louis in time to catch a few hours sleep before going to the wedding in a borrowed suit because mine was still in Bloomington.

Can't get to the store. 03-11-2003 16:46 Forum: General Discussion

Hey audiori's.

I just tried clicking on the button to the left to get to the store, but I couldn't. Same thing happened at the Dogs' site. Might just be my computer having problems, but wanted to mention it in case anyone else is having problems.

Also, does anyone know why DA is not listed to play Cornerstone this year?

jeffrey k. mentioned on the Choir board that Cornerstone was focusing on acts that have (or will) released albums in the year before the fest. That's why DA and the Choir are out but the Dogs are still in.

It'd be great to come up with a fun theme, and then run with it. Hell, we could do our own version of Sacred Cows - or not.
