Last I heard, Dan still hadn't located everything we needed to do it - but we can always work around that if necessary.

last i heard, dan was pretty busy.......thanks for the info Cool

Ok, Chesterdox (and everyone else out there who's not a DA n00b like me),

I own all of 2 DA albums, Bibleland and Daniel Amos. How would you rank the remaining albums for me to purchase? I had a friend do this for me when I first got into Led Zeppelin and until now hadn't asked for a similar list for other bands.

Thanks in advance (should you feel the need to acquiesce to my request).

Michael / Zudrak

i prefer mr. buechner's dream, but that's just my personal preference. i don't even know if you can still get that one ~ i don't see it in da's webstore.

i just checked ebay and it's available there
Mr. Buechner's Dream

this bears repeating since you (michael) posted right after me and may have missed my post.

Thanks, bereal! It's been quite the roller coaster ride. I don't want to ramble (bad habit of mine!), so I'll just say thanks for the prayers.

She's in Heaven now because of her faith in Jesus as Lord and Savior and that knowledge keeps me going against the flow.

As a side note, my mom-in-law has really taken to Derri's music, so I'll get her online and you can get her up to speed on *All Things Derri*. Wink

well, i'll do my best........ Big Grin

i knew i had seen you post about your wife somewhere but couldn't remember where to go back and post my sympathies. Frown it's good to know she had a strong faith in Christ and is now with Him. Pleased Cool

hey pea.........i can speak for myself!

i don't get antsy about seeing derri.......and i don't get butterflies.

derri's a great guy! Cool kinda like a buddy of mine. when i got on the stage, he turned and saw me coming, smiled at me and said, "hey, how are you?" and hugged me on the stage in front of everyone. getting to see derri is like getting to see an old friend i haven't seen in a while. glad to be getting to see him? yes.....antsy w/butterflies? nah.

The Album I Wore Out Growing Up Was: Four way tie... 'Til Tuesday - Voices Carry, Cyndi Lauper - She's So Unusual, Culture Club - Colour By Numbers, and Thompson Twins - Into the Gap (I WASN'T A CHRISTIAN YET, I WAS A NEW WAVE 80'S KID)

hehe, i read this quote with your list of albums and thought, he must be about my age..........then i glanced up at your birthday and realized you are. Big Grin Cool

I wasn't saved either and am a little younger born in '72), but I was more into hard rock than new wave. Of those I really liked 'Til Tuesday and still like Aimee Mann today, even though she doesn't really have much hope in her lyrics. I liked the hits of the others OK. Smile

One of the first things I remember listening to on the radio and liking (after I got my own radio) was Blondie's The Tide Is High. Big Grin

My first cassette I bought was Def Leppard's Pyromania (had a number of 45 singles before then, though).

i never said i was into any of that music, just that i remember that in my youth......there were a lot of people in my class who did listen to those albums.

On the second part... while all of the Dogs participated on the Eddies album, the Eddies are twice the size of the Dogs... not much different than it was in the past actually, since Terry, Gene and Mike all worked on the Eddies stuff - Derri was the only holdout.. until Steve joined anyway. (Both of those fellas very well might have done something on one or two of the older Eddies records uncredited.. I'm probably just forgetting it).

...and of course, it is a very different animal musically. Happy

thanks for that bit of info. i'll have to try to remember to ask derri on the 20th if he and steve actually did anything uncredited on the older eddies records. i'm excited about seeing them again!
