Any Californians here sign, or going to sign, the petition to recall Gov. Davis? I heard its going pretty strong. You poor Californians can really use a break from that guy, it seems. I just heard how much taxes they rob you guys of. Yikes.
Recall Gray Davis Petition

I know , that's another thing I'm not impressed by. You would think with all the Hollywood rich and elite that taxes would be low. But it seems as though it is not the case.
Anyways SK Seeing that you live relativly close (within 5 miles) of myself, do you go to the Trinity House Theater to see Taylor, Roe , Daugherty and others? I know someone who lives in an apartment in the vicinity you mentioned. Would'nt that be funny if it was you? I highly doubt it....
|
Nope, live in a house in Madison Heights, MI. Wanted to go to Trinity House a few times, but it didn't work out. I know I'll get there sometime. I'm keeping an eye peeled for upcoming shows.

While we are taking care of Davis, can you get rid of Mr. Levin and his WMD shenanigans!

I live in Athens, Georgia. Except for a year in Tennessee',I've lived in Georgia all my life.
Well, I went on a summer mission trip to California. It was in the Bakersfield area. The Joshua trees were amazing. I learned a lot while I was there. I learned that my image of Californians gained from the media & Hollywood was largely erroneous. I also learned that others' image of Southerners ganed from the media & Hollywood is equally if not more erroneous. Introductions in nearly every conversation for three months were followed by "you don't have an accent like I thought you would."

Where? When I served in the ARMY I was at Ft.Hood TX. 1985-1988. I almost stayed when I got out but chickened out a came back to MICHIGAN. Work wise it was a wise decision. Plus I love Michigan and it's climate,Particularly up north. Oh , Killeen Texas was where FT.HOOD is..
P.S. I used to get into some good local Texas Rock and Roll bands (definitly not Christians) from the 60's. The 13th Floor Elevators being my favorite.

Presently I'm in NW Kentucky. Before that I was in SE Illinois (Fairfield). Before that I was schooled in Fort Worth, TX (SWBTS) and before that I was schooled in Dallas (DBU) (both fine institutions sadly panned in that "Hide the Beer" ditty. Before that I grew up in SE Oklahoma. However, for the first tender 6 months of my wee little life, I hailed from Bakersfield, CA (made famous in song by none other than TST.
