Fellas,
can you guys do me a favor? I know this has come up a few times on the board in the past... If anyone remembers (or feels like popping the album in their CD player), can you tell me which songs on Mr Buechners Dream have incomplete lyrics here on the site?
The website lyrics were taken from an early, early Word doc that Terry had sent us.. some things changed, other things were incomplete at the time. Well we have a time sensitive issue where we need them all as complete as possible -- so, if anyone can help me do this quickly, I'd appreciate it.

Unfortunately, I started a new job this week. (Yay! Un-unemployed!) It there's still need and it fits your timing, I can give it a run-through this weekend. Wish I could be of more immediate help...

Good luck on the new job.
The weekend may be ok... if we don't get what we need sooner. We're very short on time but also playing it by ear a bit. Its something being done for the DA tour. I'd do it myself but I'm very busy with a different part of the same project. Tom's finishing up another project, so he's swamped too. I don't know how often Jason gets to blast Buechner's with a two year old in the house.
I know folks have pointed out several Buechner's lyrical website issues in the past.. was hoping someone would remember some of them.

If you or anyone can finish the album out, it'll definitely be appreciated.
Thank you tons Ron!

my uncultured, neanderthalic ruminitions...
The Staggering Gods:
They're the ones we worship > The gods we worship
And they're gasping for their final breath > Are gasping for their final breath
And here's the terrible noise > We hear the terrible noise
.......And my personal thanks to whoever figured out that “Cycle” as showing on the liner notes is really “Sickle” – although I have to admit that is truly hilarious.
A Little Grace:
Threw a big wet towel on my plan > Threw a big ol’ (?)wet towel on my plan
And I'm on my face now
Need a little grace now
......next 2 lines are
Yeah I'm on my face now
Need a little grace now
......but TST sings
I’m goin’ down (4X - as at the beginning of the song)
And I'm on my face now (now, now) > I think background sings (down down…)
Over Her Shoulder [weirdness – my CD has My Beautiful Martyr and Over Her Shoulder in reversed order – is this like a double struck coin or something? Maybe worth a lot of money, right?]:
......missing stanza follows “blood red moon”, need help, the words are not real clear on this one to me…WAIT! It’s in the liner notes:
Flesh of my flesh, dust of my dust
Held in a swoon of sweet desire
I could not wake her from the lust
For everything that fed the fire
Second disk……
Pretty Little Lies:
In your favorite tree > On your favorite tree [but when repeated at the end he says “in”]
Now don't be shy, tell me why > Now don't be shy, tell me
......Chorus (background voices sing something different the third line, cannot make it out)
Why would I lie to you? (say pretty little lies to you?) > sounds like (speak pretty lies to you) both first lines
Why would I lie to you? > add> (speak pretty little lies to you?)
Baby I'd die for you (pretty little lies aren't true) > something like (they’re pretty but they’re still not true)
Though I'm not yet number one > Though I'm not yet your number one
Repeat end of first verse > could be > Repeat first verse & chorus
Easy For You:
And it's always there > It's always there
You've tracked it > But you've tracked it
And wrap your mind around a paradox > Or wrap your mind around a paradox
Or bare the thought > Or bear the thought (maybe?)
[repeated choruses at the end have background lines I cannot make out]
Maybe All I Need:
We'll watch the skeletons dance > Watch the skeletons dance
Pregnant Pause:
Wonder if the water (is) running > Wonder if the water’s running
Wonder if the well (has) run dry > Wonder if the well’s run dry
Wonder if the angels (is) coming > Wonder if the angel’s coming
Wondering at the empty sky > Wonder at the empty sky
Wonder if the circuits busted > Wonder if the circuit’s busted
Wondering if it's holy ground > Wonder if it's holy ground
So Far So Good:
And I've placed a veil 'round this > And I've placed a veil around this
......Last chorus
And it's so far (it's something like devotion) > So far (it's something like devotion)
So good (I betray you with this kiss) > …I betray you with this kiss
Flash In Your Eyes:
In the grace of that sweet rain > In the grace of love’s sweet rain
Was never in our plans > Was never in the plans
Nobody Will:
And we hung the sun > And we hung the Son(?)
We'll wake up, and make up > We'll wake up, make up
Just want our faces on prime time > Just want our faces on a prime time
There was that time we fed the poor > There was a day we fed the poor
Promise land > Promised Land (?)
Fingertips: [both occurrences]
Brushing my hair > They’re brushing my hair
Someones whispering > Someone’s whispering
Somethings different > Something’s different
Is something hiding > Something hiding
Leaving fingperprints > fingperprints ??!
Steal Away:
Bleed us, then heal us > Bleed us and heal us
May love bind and seal us > Let love bind and seal us
We'll sail away when the white doves flying > We'll sail away when the white dove’s flying
A flood of fire in a lost worlds dying > A flood of fire in a lost world’s dying
And So It Goes:
Heres to revelry and levity > Here’s to revelry and levity

Thanks Ken.
That should get me what I need. You've both been added to the "Thank you"s. I'll try to remember to send you each a free copy... remind me if I forget.

so let it be written, so let it be done (10 Commandments was on last night)
i finished this just before going to bed, so last night i dreamed i was at the townsends because we were all doing something like going to a DA concert... Terry & others were there... when it was over i needed to go home and could not find my luggage or wallet... Steve Baxter helped me look around and declared as he always has in real life, "you're really weird" but we didn't find anything. then Terry reminded me as i knew he had a million times that he never travelled with luggage, he just bought what he needed when he got there... thought you would want to know.

So this is a reissue for the tour, I assume, and the liners will refer to the site for the lyrics (hence the necessity to have them correct)?

We're actually doing an expanded booklet that will include all of the lyrics. Thats why it was so important to get them right. They'll be corrected here on the site also.

Looks like it might. Terry's thinking about where it would go if we do include it.. it doesn't really work to tag on the end of either disc, so it would have to be worked into the lineup somehow. Thats actually how I first heard it though, so maybe they can just go back to that original line up.
This is just one of two reissues that should be done in time for the tour. The other one is still top secret (sort of).. but there have been hints dropped here and there.
