I am at a loss as to what to do.
Back in February I emailed Eric Townsend this:
I signed up for the Horrendous Disc box set (the level that came with everything) back at the beginning. I am so grateful this release happened.
I listened to the vinyl for the actual album today (I had listened to all the other stuff initially and never got around to giving a focused listen to the album itself till today).
Side one of record one has some kind of pressing problem. A very syncopated ,repetitive ,distorted noise happens through the entire side. I have a nice turntable and it is aligned and Understand the difference between just normal background noise and something that is a problem.
I listened to all of the other records and they are fine. But, man, I would really appreciate it if I could swap my side one/two for a replacement. It is just disappointing to have paid all that money and to have the album itself be unlistenable.
He wrote back:
Hi Aaron,
I’ve heard of this popping up on a couple of copies...... the printer originally had issues with surface noise, scrapped that printing and started over with new plates. I’m thinking that when they shipped them to us, they mixed in the copies that had noise. I can replace it for you. -Eric
Then it became me emailing him pretty much throughout the year to remind and ask him about it. He wrote back a few times saying he would mail it out but that didn’t happen. Then he just quit responding at all.
I then messaged the admins here two weeks ago to see if there was any way they could help and I have yet to hear from them as well.
I am genuinely frustrated.

It might be worth looking up the band on Facebook and reaching out by private message to Eric or Tom G or someone who may be able to push things forward... I'm sorry its been frustrating. It has been a slow frustrating last 6 months or so for most of us in most areas...

Keep that first one, order a second one. The first one will be a collector's item, like when they strike a penny off-center.

My apologies.... a lot has happened. Most very personal and not something I’m posting all over in public places.
My wife and I are expecting a baby this October. Some issues have come up and he has a problem with his heart. Long story short - there was a period of time where we were spending a lot of time at the hospital and visiting the cardiology teams.
I will get you taken care of.

Hey, I want to let you know that I am keeping you and your family in my prayers. When my son was born we very quickly found out that he has a heart issue called hypoplastic left heart syndrome. This has required three open heart surgeries and a pacemaker. He is now almost 16 years old and thriving. He is as healthy as expected. Even the normal things they watch for with his condition are not presenting themselves. We praise God for this daily. That said, when we found out his diagnosis we were very scared. God did place people in our lives to guide us through and offer us hope even in our fear. This did not defeat the doubt and anger we felt. God has indeed shown Himself victorious in this situation and many others. Praying for strength for you and your wife, guidance for doctors, and healing for your child!

It has now been a year now since I originally reached out to Eric. And it has been over 7 months since I first posted about it here. Is anyone able to help me out?
