        | Billboard Illustrated Encyclopedia of Rock |          |  You know when you see these big ole coffee table books, you look and see if your favourite bands get a mention.  So I scan the index at the back and I see Petra.  WTF I say to myself, let's see what it says.
 
 There's a double page write up that starts with Larry Norman, and goes on to make some interesting observations about what CCM is and isn't.  Then there's a nice paragraph that talks about the relevant bands who made good music, and the in the very short list was Mark Heard, Daniel Amos, 77s.
 
 Pretty bloody cool.
