sardonic toward them
not with them..
the answer- perhaps its the
"since your here in a place that I can ravage with my breath...ah, why not?"
I dunno - does that sound like God at his best sarcastic self?

I've heard it suggested (by an AofG minister) that it's God forcing us to pray for Florida, because he's warming up for a honkin' revival there. As bad as it's been, it could have been way worse if the meteorologists had been anywhere near right about Charlie, Frank & Ivan.
No way to prove any of that, of course, but interesting take.

Sardonic...you've been had by the magic language filter.
But to answer the question, I don't believe God is "angry"
or "mad."
Ecclesiastes 8
14 There is a vanity which is done upon the earth; that there
be just men, unto whom it happeneth according to the work
of the wicked; again, there be wicked men, to whom it
happeneth according to the work of the righteous: I said that
this also is vanity.
Ecclesiastes addresses this subject greatly, good things happen
to the wicked and bad things happen to the righteous. It has little
to do with God's "anger" toward the recipient. Mankind opened
up good and evil upon the earth with the fall of Adam and Eve.
Genesis 2:17
But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt
not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt
surely die.
Now we all get to "know" good and evil, every day.

Yup.
I used to think that bad things only happened to people who were sinning. Then while I was living for the Lord, I had a miscarriage. I don't think bad things happen because God is mad* at anyone! He loves all of mankind and wants no one to perish. We live in a fallen world and bad things happen in a fallen world.

Yes, I actually see it the other way sometimes. If things are going perfectly for you then maybe the devil has you where he wants you.

Some of the verses previous to the Ecclesiastes ones I
quoted above actually touch on this as well.
Ecclesiastes 1
18 For in much wisdom is much grief: and he that increaseth
knowledge increaseth sorrow.
----
Strangely enough, it's probably more on topic than anything.
It seems anyone that dedicates their life to ministering to
others, God allows to be attacked with much evil so that
they will grow in Wisdom (which is exactly what they need to
minister to other people.)

Oh, yeah! That's usually when I start to get concerned and really start to examine my own heart (which we should be doing regularly anyway)!
