What is the time signature in Rice Paper Wings?
I'm no musician, but I like to pretend I am. I could not count along with this song tonight. It seems like there are extra beats stuck in every once in a while.
So, all you music geeks... what is it????

I forgot about the short opening & ending sections. I can't remember exactly how they go, & I don't have the disc here, but I think you may be right, AGT.

But right before the chorus there's two too many or two too few beats, aren't there?
Or can I not count?

I learned how to keep the beat when I was little and took tap and jazz classes. My son has already figured out how to keep the beat better than his sister 3 years his senior.

I hate to say that was Paul's influence..
but that was Paul's influence.
though I DONT think you'll see that on the SUPERBOWL HALFTIME SHOW tommorow- the only reason to watch an otherwise yawner of a game..though some may think between halfs may be worst of all
(not this cat however....)
anyway.. RPW is a terrific song..in every way.
