K&I is, for me, the best. It was into the K&I world that Andrew was born and from the beginning it ministered to me. It is exactly why we asked for TST to come and minister over Andrew in his last days.
Terry brought with him, to the hospital, a few CDs for Andrew. One was AF. Andrew fell in love with it. He got to spend a few days at home before going back into the hospital for the final stretch. He sang "Piehole" at the top of his lungs, especially when my wife or his girl friend were about. I found him weeping before the stereo in his wheelchair as he listened to "Took her in the afternoon."
It made him think of his late Grandma Lindy and late CF pal he'd grown up with, Jennifer. He knew he'd see them soon.
None-the-less, for both of us, the all time single was "Soon". Even little Ethan (3) belts it out today like a trumpet blast.
There is so much TST and it hits such a multitude of our live dramas--there must be something for everybody. I think... (and yes, we ought to think)

I just read C.S. Lewis--A Grief Observed and it reminded me so much of Knowledge and Innocence. What a wonderful book!

My current favorite is Home Permanent. It reminds me of my dad and also that he's "home permanently."

It's an amazing book... the honesty of it is incredible. The first parts of the book are so painful that they are hard to read, but the peace that comes at the end is beautiful. It is, I think, one of Lewis' best books.
