CD Party of a different type |
|
Driving on this NW tour is a blast but also extremely wearisome. So, to break up the day, we've at times slipped a cd in of something one of us has just finished and enjoy it together. Terry shared a small Christmas EP he just did with Rob Watson. Awesome (duh!).
So I braved sticking my Christmas EP in. I could have died when they all cringed and told me to turn that crap off.
Jus' kidding. I TOTALLY melted when they all expressed how much they liked it. Terry told me to knock off the Death Metal of track four. I said it was Manger Metal. HA!
On the way to Portland we reviewed the final melt-down of the Naz. Crying Towel. Something VERY special. It takes a new turn and firmly establishes the Dogs for who they are today. I think it marries the earlier with the later twang and it is SO spiritual, it'll squeeze your heart.
More later,
Much love,
Theo
