What format are the photos and clip art?
All EcoPics.com photos and clip art are in JPG format. The size and resolution are displayed under each image. All photos are high resolution and are color corrected to ensure excellent print quality. The clip art looks best in print at the sizes listed next to 150 dpi (and smaller).

What are 'sketch effect' images?
Sketch effect images are photographs that have been altered with a Photoshop filter to look more like a pencil or charcoal drawing. These images look very nice in printed pieces such as brochures, newsletters, magazines, reports etc.

How do I download purchased images?
After your credit card order is processed, you will be taken to a secure web page with a link to your image download. From there, you can download the images to your computer's hard drive. You also will receive a confirmation email with a link to your purchased images.

Do you add images on a regular basis?
Yes. We add photos and clip art as they are taken/created. Click on "Newest Photos" to see the latest images that we have posted. If you can’t find an image to meet your needs, tell us about it. We’re open to customers’ suggestions for new images.

Can I submit photos to sell?
Right now the only photos that we sell are the ones taken by EcoPics.com and it's partners. In the future we may consider this.

Do you offer refunds?
CDs - Yes, we offer a 15-day satisfaction guarantee. See our CD page for more information.
Digital Downloads: Once your purchase is made we can not offer a refund. Since we offer full access to our entire digital collection of photos, there is no way for our products to be returned. On a rare occasion, we will make exceptions on a case by case basis.

Are there any restrictions on the use of the EcoPics.com photos and clip art that I download?
EcoPics are Royalty-free images. They may be used in books, brochures, business cards, newsletters, magazines, reports, presentations, CD covers, posters, Web pages, etc. While EcoPics.com offers great freedoms and a wide range of uses, you may not make modifications to or create new works derived from EcoPics images for the purpose of resale or distribution for monetary gain.

Do I need a PayPal account to buy images from you?
No, PayPal accepts all major credit cards. While checking out is faster when you have a PayPal account, you do not need an account to place a credit card order.

How secure is my information?
The security of your information, transactions, and money is our top priority. We do not store your payment information.

Your confidential information is automatically encrypted in transit from your computer to PayPal using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits (the highest level commercially available). Before you even register or log in to our site, our server checks that you're using an approved browser - one that uses SSL 3.0 or higher.

Once your information reaches us, it resides on a server that is heavily guarded both physically and electronically. PayPal's servers sit behind an electronic firewall and are not directly connected to the Internet, so your private information is available only to authorized computers.
