I think I have over 50 Cds of Daniel Amos/Terry Taylor/Lost Dogs/Swirling Eddies/Etc.
They keep reissuing with bonus tracks or new pictures or a different label or whatever, and I just keep buying them. "I can't help myself" Coolest stuff on the planet. And my wife wonders why we're broke.
My daughter's favorite is "Get Back Into the Bus, Aloha." She loves to spin around in circles and dance to that one.
My wife hates DA and doesn't understand why I like them so much.
Go figure.......

Or is that just me that happens too...

Heh, heh. How about if when you're listening to a sermon in church you're figuring out which DA/TST/LD song it relates to? I sent my pastor an email the other day exhorting him about one of his sermons and included the complete lyrics to 2 DA/TST songs. The comment that stirred it was something about being directed by our glands nowadays. Anybody care to guess which song came to mind? Well, he thanked me for the comments and noted that he never heard of those guys before.... does kinda shy away from me now
As for my wife, I won't say she "hates" DA, it's more that she puts up with my obsession.

Yea-
everyone here is a TST freak in some way. It's funny, but my wife likes The Lost Dogs too, but says DA is a bit too quirky for her, but I really think that it's the quirky stuff i like best. The stuff that is odd may take a while to apreciate, but it's the richest in the end. The normal music get's boring after a while, but not DA. I think that's the whole point. It's sort of like Tom Waits. The first time I heard it I said who the Hell is this, and a week later it was stuck in my CD player forever. Good times.

50?
Wow. I have maybe 15 or so with two on the way.
It's good to know I'm in such fine company. Looks like I'll make a home here for a little while.

Probably. I think we must be able to accept what we are first.
