Addisons Walk- a PK tune- is about the place they met at Cambridge. Tolkien was painstaking at his epic- CS was a bit more whimsical about the whole thing- the way one commentator put it. According to a biography of Tolkien that I read, he was somewhat of jealous of easily Lewis seemed to write his books. Look at the years Tolkien spent writing LOTR. And then compare that to Lewis: a book a year.
