it seems there is a Lost Dogs tune... I can't recall which where it sounds like "Sh*T I'm hard like a nail"
Johnny Edwards / Lucy would know

Red, White And Blue
(Terry Taylor)
Well, the worst that I could get there
Was the lead in my gut
But the worst that you can give me
Is this lead in my cup
I might be all washed up
But I'm a pretty good man
Sure, I'm hard as a nail
But I will sell you the blood on my hands
I'm looking at you
(Tell me what do you see)
I'm looking at you
(And I won't go away)
In the light of the star spangled evening
In the name of the red white and blue
.......

LOL
Now I know what you are talking about. It was the Little Lime Red Hooks that did it for me. Although, I prefer the more traditional Ballard Bitter, or ESB.
Anyway, I've often wondered what The Dog's LRRH is like. I don't have any dogs stuff.
(Shame, Shame on Gussy!!!!)
{Bangs head against the wall several times and pulls on his ears...}
Anyway, I see that Brian Wilson is in the name of one of the songs.
I was listening to the radio the other day, and Little Red Riding Hood was played - is that Brian Wilson? It does have a beach boys sound to it. I love that song.
Anyway, it made me think of this lost dogs album. Do they cover some Brian Wilson music on that album, or is it just inspired by him?
It looks like I can't buy LRRH - seems to be on hold until they get in a beter quality version.
sigh...
Anyway, when LRRH comes round, I think that will be my first Lost Dogs album.
Cheers!
~Kaf

when Terry actually posted on the Daniel Amos message board, he brought the subject up one time. He told a story from Tony Campolo. Let's not turn this into a pro or against thing against Campolo, but he told this story... I don't remember the whole thing, but the main point was that Tony said to his audience one time "There are children dying all over the world every day, and most of you don't give a sh*t." Then he paused for a few seconds and said "The real sad thing is that most of you are more upset that I said sh*t than that the children are dying...."

I for one am happy that Terry says a naughty word from time to time.
I don't really trust anyone who never swears.
