- A working title for the new Daniel Amos album is announced, Dig Here Said the Angel. A short clip of the band rehearsing last December is also sent to Kickstarter supporters.

- As work on the new project moves to Nashville, TN, Daniel Amos begins their first set of rehearsals in the new year.
All of the rehearsals and studio sessions are being filmed in hi-def by Tom Gulotta, Memo Salazar, Jason Townsend and Eric Townsend for a planned "Making of" DVD project.

Dig Here Said the Angel
- Dig Here Said the Angel is released and for sale at the DA webstore. The album, which was funded through crowdfunding, is the band's first studio album in eight years. The cover artwork is a collage of artwork and photos contributed by fans.

- Vinyl editions of Dig Here Said the Angel arrive from the manufacturer and begin to ship. The set is a double album with colored vinyl, a beautiful gatefold sleeve and one bonus remix. Terry Taylor begins autographing copies for the Kickstarter supporters that purchased the vinyl tier.
